Nthabiseng Moloi

My name is Nthabiseng but everyone calls me “Nthabi”, I’m from South Africa, Pretoria. I am a passionate online English teacher, with a passion for cultural exchange and language learning, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students. Whenever I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, stage performing and coding. I am a seasoned online English teacher with TEFL certification, I've had the privilege of guiding students from diverse backgrounds towards achieving their language goals. Additionally, I've had the honour of serving as a Head Mentor at Tshwane University of Technology, where I mentored , tutored and supported students in their academic journey. With my expertise in online teaching and mentorship, I've developed a unique ability to create engaging lesson plans, foster a supportive learning environment, and provide personalised feedback that caters to individual needs. My experience has equipped me with the skills to adapt to various teaching styles, making me a versatile teacher. My teaching style is student-centered, interactive, and adaptive. I focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters engagement, creativity, and critical thinking. I mostly focus on (but not limited to): 1. Conversational English: Focus on speaking and listening skills, such as pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. 2. English Grammar: Teach various grammar rules, sentence structures, and language conventions. 3. Vocabulary Building: Help students expand their vocabulary and learn new words and phrases. 4. English Writing: Teach writing skills, including essay writing, email writing, and creative writing. 5. Reading Comprehension: Improve students' reading skills and comprehension of various texts. I aim to make learning English an enjoyable and empowering experience, tailoring my approach to meet the diverse needs and goals of my students.
