Hello there! I am Nicholas. I'm a digital nomad and I am 25. I love teaching and I have been doing so for about 5 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science. A fun fact about me is that apart from speaking 9 languages, I have traveled to over 60 countries. I specialize in accent training, pronunciation, intonation, and grammar. My goal is to make my students sound more native. It's no secret that I enjoy friendly and intellectual conversations so you will laugh in every class. My approach is not overly didactic. I grew up in Guyana, once called British Guiana, and lived in Norway and Brazil for a few years. In a way, you can say that I am very cultured. I would be happy to know more about your country and culture. I spend most of my time tutoring and pursuing a master's degree in Political Science. Through the wide range of lessons that I teach on the platform, I have managed to satisfy many students and even changed their accents. With over 5 years of teaching experience, I believe that I am qualified to help you improve. I see myself as your friend and as a linguistic doctor. I listen, I observe, and then I diagnose. In all of my classes, I do a lot of listening, then I recommend to my students at relevant times in our lessons what he or she can do to improve their English. I offer a pronunciation course that includes phrasal verbs, the American accent tips and tricks, and even guidance that would help correct most errors. My approach is conversational. Most of my students are Graphic Designers, Software Programmers, Doctors, Lawyers, Kids, and even high school students. I usually use the language of the student to explain the better way forward and I make each class enjoyable. Expect to laugh a lot.
