Nishana Jacob

I am from South Africa, specifically from the city of Durban. I consider myself to be a passionate, patient and goal driven person. My hobbies are baking and reading. I have taught for 13 years. I worked with students between the ages of 2-6 years old. I have two early childhood development certificates and 120 hour TEFL certificate. I like to take time to understand my students learning style and like to cater and adapt my lessons accordingly. I worked according to a syllabus in my teaching experience with grade R learners. I like working around themes or topics . I enjoy inter-active learning , I use TPR , as it makes the lesson fun between the teacher and student. I also use props and other teaching aids which will make the lesson more engaging and give the student a better understanding.
