Natasha Nieto-Lawrence

My name is Natasha Nieto-Lawrence and I live in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. I am half British, half Colombian. I have a bubbly, fun-loving personality and enjoy spending time with people. I love spending time in nature hiking, swimming at the beach, or walking in the park. I also enjoy reading books or listening to audio books, especially fiction. I am hugely passionate about languages and am currently learning Spanish so I can communicate better with my Colombian family members. I have been tutoring English privately to students aged 7-18 years old for 6 years. I cater each lesson to the students' needs, and what they would like to improve. I also provide them with exam practice sessions, to prepare them for their exams. I have been tutoring English online for a year, and work for a variety of companies where the majority of my students are children aged 3-13 years. My teaching style focuses on creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs, learning-style preferences, and learning pace. I believe in fostering a supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to actively participate and express themselves confidently in English. Through interactive activities, personalized feedback, and culturally relevant content, I aim to cultivate not only language proficiency but also critical thinking skills and cultural awareness.
