Please call me Happy and I would be thrilled to be your English teacher. I’m 34 years of age and I’m from Namibia. I have a passion for the English language and I enjoy teaching it. When I’m not teaching, you can find me indulging in a good book, ranging from fiction, non fiction or classic literature. In addition to reading, I have a keen interest in travel and cultural exchange. I believe that experiencing different cultures and meeting new people provides valuable insights that can be shared in a classroom. Outside of my academic interests, you will find me, on a dancing floor moving to the sound of music. I have a 120-hour TEFL certificate, which has equipped me with the skills and methodologies to effectively teach English as a second language. I started my teaching career,3 years ago, at a local school in Oshakati. This experience taught me the importance of adapting my teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and cultural contexts. One of my key teaching philosophies is to make learning student- centered. I believe in tailoring my lessons to meet the needs and goals of each student.
