Teacher Candy

My name is Mpho Candice but you can call me Candy, I am a English tutor who is also a content creator. I studied electrical engineering as my professional career. I feel that my passion for teaching stems from helping my former classmates with modules they did not understand and also helping each other prepare for tests and exams. My hobbies includes playing games, cooking and gardening. The hobbies I have most importantly gardening, have taught me to have patience because good things take time. I am TEFL certified with 1 years of experience. I tutored students in English reading, writing and communication. I tutor my students with the help of teachers aid that help them understand different concepts better. I have often worked with slow learners, so I am very patient with my students. In my lessons I make use of a variety of things like PowerPoint, maps, pictures, videos and audio aids ( E.g Animals sounds, songs and rhymes). After teaching, I like to recap on what I have taught by playing memory games with that students to see how much information they have retained from my teachings, while encouraging them to learn, pay attention and participate in set task. This allows all students, especially slow learners, to gain confidence in their journey of learning the English language
