My name is Monique Jerome. I am from Trinidad and Tobago. I enjoy doing outdoor activities such as hiking, travelling to different countries. I enjoy watching movies going to restaurants to experience different cuisines. I have been a teacher for fourteen years and truly enjoy getting to know my students and seeing them grow in learning to speak and write English. I have a Bachelor of Science degree and I am also TESOL/TEFL certified.
I have been teaching English as a second language to adults and children for the last year. Thirteen years before that I taught English and Mathematics to children ages 4 to 12. I was also an Accountant for 7 years.
My lessons are fun and engaging. I encourage students to speak more than I do and I use real life practical experiences to engage learning.
