Hello, I’m Michael and I’m from Zimbabwe, a beautiful country in Southern Africa. I am passionate about learning about different cultures and languages, this is why I enjoy tutoring students from various backgrounds and locations. I have a certification in Software Engineering and a degree in Geology and Chemistry, so I can teach you both technical and scientific subjects. In my spare time, I read books that inspire me, practice my coding skills, or watch some movies. I have been an online English tutor for over 3 years and I have been TEFL certified for the last 2 years. I have worked with students from all over the world with the majority being from Europe and South America. I have taught a lot of business professionals, travellers, students and those who were relocating. My teaching style is based on the principles of conversational and task-based learning. I believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful and authentic communication. I design my classes according to the needs and goals of each student, taking into account their level, interests, and learning preferences. I use a variety of tools and resources, such as multimedia, games, role-plays, and simulations, to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment. My aim is to help my students develop their fluency, accuracy, and confidence in using English for various purposes and contexts.
