Marquita Mills

Hi everyone! My name is Tr. Marquita. I was born in Jamaica but I live and work on the beautiful and tranquil island of Anguilla. I enjoy going to the beach and socializing with my friends and family. I've been a teacher for 14 years and I love my job. I absolutely enjoy working with different people from various backgrounds. I've been teaching ESL for approximately five years and I enjoy and look forward to every opportunity I get to interact with my non-native English learners. I'm looking forward to seeing you in my classroom. I've taught Primary Education for 9 years in Jamaica from 2009 to 20018. I later moved on to teach Elementary Education and Integrated ESL to grades one and three asynchronously for 4 years at Omololu International School (Anguilla) from 2018 to 2022. I'm currently employed to the Department of Education (Anguilla) as an Elementary Teacher since 2022. My lessons are usually fun, interactive and engaging. I incorporate alot of visual aids, discussions, games and TPR into my lessons so my learners can be comfortable and become confident in using English.
