I am a Georgian teacher and mother of 2 children, living in a beautiful village in the heart of Georgia. I keep many animals including chickens, turkeys, ducklings and a cat. I look forward very much to hearing from you.
I am a professional teacher, and school manager of the Kachreti English Language School. I teach grammar and all lessons to beginners and intermediate students, through to university level. I have a BA degree in humanities and specialise in translating Georgian to English and English to Georgian. I have taught students from 7yrs old to 50yrs old. Some of our students who came to us as beginners have now become English teachers themselves, teaching in private schools in Tbilisi, our capital city.
I teach British English using the direct method, which I like very much. This method gets you speaking English from your very first day. If you know some English I will teach you from your present level, but if you are a new learner, I can teach you from the very beginning with the English alphabet. I can give you your lessons on paper after each lesson so that you can read and learn when you are off-line too.
If you want to speak Georgian, I can teach Georgian to you.
If you already speak English you will find it much easier to learn Georgian. Georgian [ proper name Kartuli ] has its own alphabet but no capital letters. The sound of the words are directly written phonetically.
