Hi, my name is Kaylene and I live in South Africa. I have four years teaching English experience at a pre-school to predominantly Afrikaans and Sotho children. I love teaching especially younger children and find it incredibly rewarding when they thrive within their schooling environment. I am able to listen carefully to syntax and pronunciation and together we can improve the English language you would speak in everyday life situations with fluency and confidence. With my interactive methods I am able help direct you with business English as well as job applications from writing a professional resume/CV to interview preparation and practice. I am a qualified TEFL teacher (300hour diploma) and am certified to teach business aspects as well as correct business English and business etiquette. I have certificates in play based learning (1. Birth – two years 2. Two– Five years 3. Grade R 4. Gr I would best describe my teaching style as relaxed, interactive, supportive and transparent. I encourage my students to ask questions no matter how peculiar they may seem and I would describe a successful lesson not only one that they have learnt something by but a lesson that was also fun. My lesson structure engage students to create, understand, remember, produce and apply whether it is in everyday life or in the students’ classroom by building meaningful vocabulary and increase comprehension.
