Julia Neubauer

Hello everyone! I'm Julia, 26 years old and come from Germany. I currently live in Spain/Mexico and work in tourism, as a yoga teacher and online as a language teacher. I speak German, English and Spanish because I went to a language high school, traveled a lot and now live abroad. I would describe myself as a very happy, open, helpful and ambitious person who loves being in contact with people, has a simple lifestyle and enjoys the little things in life. My interests include yoga, travel, languages and cultures, nutrition, sports, psychology, sociology and pedagogy. I love to be inspired and look forward to meeting new people! See you soon :) As a teenager, I started teaching refugee children and to study the German language and foreign languages (English and Spanish), but I don’t have an official certificate as a German teacher. I’m really patient, good at explaining and I can offer a safe space for you to practice speaking German, to make errors and learn from them. I've already taught for 9 month successfully on LiveXP. My own experience has been that you can only really learn a language by constantly speaking it, making mistakes, improving and thus developing further. For this reason, I focus on communication and also do grammar or vocabulary exercises when it makes sense. We set the emphasis together where it is necessary and desired. Overall, my lessons are very interactive. I did the experience that the best way to learn a language is to speak constantly, especially in dialogue with native speakers. It's important to speak, make mistakes, get corrected and to not feel ashamed of trying. So I offer German conversation to keep communicating, to get a better understanding of the language and to improve grammar and vocabulary. The methods here are really different as every person learns best in a different way. Mainly I do a mix of conversation and small grammar or word exercises, in general in an interactive way.
