Jo-Anne

I was born in a small town in South Africa, but have made it my life goal to travel the World. I studied Somatology for three years, where I obtained a Diploma, as well as my International qualification called Cidesco. After studying, I worked on the Carnival Cruise Lines as a Skincare Specialist/ Receptionist/ Assistant Manager. In 2021 I completed a three week training course with Park West Galleries, where I came out as top five, out of all international trainees in my group. This lead me to work on another Carnival Cruise Ship, this time as an Art Dealer. My studies have not stopped, as I am working on pursuing studies in Fashion Design. I have always had larger-then-life goals, and I am achieving them step-by-step. My goal with this platform, is to help students to achieve their goals in life. Some of my other passions include art, fashion design, skincare, travel and motivational speaking. During High School, I was a Part-Time tutor. I taught Art, English, Mathematics and Biology. After High School I was an Au Pair for a new born, and 4 year old. I did this for 6 months. Before pursuing my Somatology studies, I was a teacher for 2-3 year I prefer my lessons to be a good combination fun, but focused. I want my lessons to be interactive and engaging. My goals with my lessons will be to improve vocabulary, pronunciation and help my students be more confident in themselves.
