Jo-Ana Rodriguez-Padilla

I am originally from Pennsylvania but have recently moved to beach weather year round! My daughter and I love the outdoors and enjoy snorkeling, food and adventure. I also volunteer in the community to educate people of all ages with individualized lessons geared to help them succeed in life. The communities I have volunteered in has been my classroom for 11+ years before I decided to transition the skills I’ve gained into a career. I gained my TEFL certification in February of 2022 and have since worked as a substitute teacher in the public I focus my teaching style on the needs of each individual student. There isn’t one way to learn and as an educator and a lifelong student myself, I understand that flexibility in structure is a must. My students have ranged from special needs children to PHD professionals. I believe in creating a positive atmosphere but do not shy away from correction when needed, as our mutual goal is for you, as my pupil, to successfully speak and understand English. What you can expect from my lessons are encouragement and positive reinforcement. My expectation for you will be to give me your best effort.
