Jiri Borc

As an English language teacher, I am a native Czech, born in Prague. I attended the University of Wolverhampton where I gained a degree in People Management, Economic and Business Environment and Information Management as well as Advanced English from the University of Cambridge. As an English tutor for students of all ages and levels in Turkey, where I spent one year, I realized that teaching English was my future. After returning from studies at the University of North Carolina, where I completed the Green Parking Urban Space Project in Washington DC, I began teaching business English at large companies such as CME, Vodafone and others. I taught English at the Hotel School in Klánovice (as the chief examiner of the 9th grade graduation) and at the Arcus Gymnasium for one year. I have been teaching English for over 15 years and am proficient in logistics, HR and marketing. I traveled, taught, networking mastermind, podcast, connected people, leadership, business, startups. I devote myself to my favorite activities: chess, aikido, dancing, walking and gardening. I also like going to the cinema and relaxing with a good book. Carefree, friendly and enthusiastic, my style shines through in every lesson. Thanks to my skills and experience, I help my students improve their English in a relaxed but motivating environment. I am sensitive to their needs and incorporate gamification to make learning enjoyable.
