Jade Fernandes da Silva

I am 25 years old, and I love books, music, travelling and trying new things! I also love studying, so in my free time I study Korean and play the guitar. I have been teaching English online as a second language since 2017. First I taught Vietnamese adult students, then Chinese students (of all ages), and now I have students in many different countries, including China, USA, Poland and Ukraine. Along these I always focus on spoken communication. I tell my students that my goal is to help them say what they want to say and understand what other people say as well. Of course things like grammar and spelling are important and I do teach them, but your ultimate goal is effective communication, so I always focus on that. I like to be practical and go for the results, so right on our first class I want my students to leave the classroom feeling a little more confident and knowing they learned something new today (and I usually achieve that :D )
