Ivanna Khomiak

My name is Ivanna Khomyak, I am 23 years old, I come from Ukraine. I currently live and study in Žilina, Slovakia. I like to spend time actively in nature. I play tennis and volleyball. I like to travel and meet new people. During my studies, I gained experience as an English teacher in several schools and projects, including the private school Talk to Layla and the Play Hub.sk project from UNICEF Slovakia. I taught children from 6 years old, as well as teenagers and adults. My teaching method is based on a communicative approach, which emphasizes the development of students' communication skills in real life situations. This approach helps students gain confidence in using English and communicate fluently. I use a variety of methods, including interactive exercises, role-plays, discussions and project work, to give students hands-on language experience.
