Hello, my name is Ivanna, and I’m from Kenya, East Africa. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring various forms of creativity, such as 3D art, embroidery, baking, and dancing. Art, in all its forms, has always been a passion of mine, and I find great joy in expressing myself through these different mediums. I’m also an avid reader and writer. I’ve written several fiction e-books on Chapters, and I particularly enjoy reading historical and fictional works. One of my greatest passions is learning about ethnic cultures from around the world. This fascination is one of the reasons I love teaching online. It gives me the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, and each interaction is a valuable learning experience for me. II have over six years of experience in tutoring, both online and in-person. I hold a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi, a 120/150 Hour TEFL certificate, and a 60-Hour TEYL certificate. I believe learning should always be engaging, which is why I am passionate about teaching English. My own love for the subject grew from teachers who made lessons interactive, enjoyable, and inspiring, and I strive to bring that same energy to my own classes. Every lesson I teach is tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each student. Whether a student learns best with visual aids, enjoys hands-on activities, or prefers a more conversational approach, I adapt my teaching style to provide the best experience. I understand that every student learns differently, and I take pride in creating a comfortable, motivating environment. For some, this means a dynamic, interactive class; for others, a more structured, formal approach works best. My teaching approach is student-centered, fostering collaboration and open communication. My goal is to make learning not only effective but also enjoyable and relevant to each student’s interests and learning style. This personalized approach helps students build confidence while encouraging active participation in their learning journey.
