I am from Ukraine. I was born in the second biggest city of Ukraine - Kharkiv. Now I live in the Netherlands. My husband and I live in a house with a garden with our three cats in the most beautiful part of the Netherlands - Friesland. I have always loved reading and learning languages. My husband and I like working in our garden, walking in the forest or in the dunes. I have a passion for travelling, sightseeing and taking photos. I love cooking and baking. I have done different jobs in my life but teaching is the most interesting one for me. A good teacher lives in their students. At my lessons I use an assortment of techniques and methods based on the Communicative Approach combined with the Audio-Lingual Method and the Person-Centred Approach. I create an encouraging atmosphere where students learn, enjoying the process of learning. I understand different styles of learning, as well as teaching; that is why I use games, videos, crafts, songs, and other activities. My lessons are tailored to my students’ specific needs and engaging. The true teacher is the constant learner. That is why I always try to improve my teaching methods, my skills, and my vocabulary. I have been constantly searching for new ideas, varied sources of information for language practice and for my lessons. I attend webinars and watch videos for teachers. I will be pleased to transmit the acquired knowledge to my students.
