Inga Larionova

My name is Inga. I was born and breed in Russia, but 10 years ago I decided to change my life and moved to Thailand. I spend 8 fantastic years there and gained tons of life experience from the international community of koh Samui. At the moment, I live in Portugal and recently started learning Portuguese language, so we're in the same boat ). I have 2 children and I love to spend time with them. Sport is the hobby of my life - I enjoy trail runs, marathons and tennis. My motto - It's never too late to learn something new! According to my degree I'm a specialist in World Economics, but English language was the main course (both basic and professional) for all 5 years at the university. I've always been passionate about teaching people and I believe I'm very good at explanation. In Thailand I've been tutoring 2 students and they showed very good progress (especially in speaking). They've managed to overcome their fears and now feel really comfortable to talk in English. At the moment I have 2 off-line students in Lisbon and we both enjoy our interaction as the progress is really visible. Mostly I focus on individual goals and desires of the student, and try to build up the program in accordance with their needs and interests. The main idea is to help them overcome language barrier and help them to gain confidence in speaking. Obviously, it requires enriching the vocabulary and understanding basic grammar. I try to make classes exciting and funny - add humor and slang.
