Hi! I am a proud mother of four grown children and a grandmother to three little ones. I have a dog and a cat. I like to play sports and go to the beach. I enjoy tennis, golf, Pilates, boating, and walking my dog. I also like to bake and cook. My other hobbies include working in the garden or riding a bike.
I have taught all ages: high school, middle school, and elementary school. I volunteer at Medical Teams International. My second language is Spanish. I have experience teaching online using Zoom and other virtual programs.
I love to teach grammar and feel I have a good grasp of it! When teaching, I like to use many visuals, including cartoons. I like to explain figurative language, such as idioms. I will sometimes incorporate music or short videos. I also try to make it fun and sometimes create games.
