I'm a certified ESL teacher. I'm from the beautiful country of South Africa. My hobbies are crocheting, reading, animals, plants, nature, sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm very good in advice giving, motivating people and people relations. I'll always want to help to improve and empower people/students. Furthermore, I always want to improve myself, by trying different things. Besides, I believe I'm blessed with lots of talents and really want to learn to keep on growing. Furthermore, I'm a very kind, passionate, inspiring person. Besides, I'm very loyal, patient, honest, generous, and reliable , I believe in learning together with my students. Furthermore, l will challenge them as specially if they have the abilities to do better, and will change my techniques or think on my feet if needed to get the students more engaged to participate. Besides, I'll walk the extra mile for my students. I'll give more attention to the shy ones to get more confident in themselves. I was always the chosen one in my previous work places to teach colleagues. I was teaching face to face privately my friend and family members English and Afrikaans by helping the students with their school homework. Currently, I'm teaching a 5-year- old student in grade 1, level from Moscow once a week, and a 14-year-old girl on intermediate level from Vietnam 2x per week. Furthermore, currently, I'm also teaching voluntary 3 adult students on beginner, intermediate levels in a one on one setting from Mexico once a week. Besides, I was teaching 2 classes to adult students in a group setting with a maximum of 4 students on beginner, intermediate and upper intermediate levels as a substitute teacher to relieve another teacher, they're also from Mexico. I did 1 trail MOC demo class to practice an IELTS demo with an adult student from Alaska. Besides, I want to study more to improve myself to improve and empower my students to reach their goals to be the best they can be. For young student. I use lots of props, soft toys, rewards, comic animated pictures and TPR. I design his lesson myself according to his needs. We do lots of reading, pronunciation, phonics, syllables, grammar nouns, tenses, vowels and consonants. The struggles with reading at his school. I work together with his mom to plan his lessons on his difficulties at school. He is over active and, I find ways that interest him to keep his attention. The adults are more conversational English. I share the link of the lesson in the chat box. I let them share the lesson. Furthermore, want them to do all the work themselves and, have control of the mouse. They listen to a short video, answer quizzes, check answers. I let them read the scrip. I'm helping to pronounce the words. They type in the grammar words in blanks, and they select the right vowels in the blanks while listening again, they have to answer the questions in a short sentence in their own words by typing. I help them in struggles.
