I'm from Oregon. I am in my mid-forties and am a father of two. I enjoy being outdoors and reading about the world. I am interested in politics and the global community. I am also interested in the cultures of other countries including those from east Asia, Europe, Central and South America, Africa, and India among others.
I have taught English briefly in China and Japan. I am currently close to finishing a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have a 120 hour TEFL/TESOL teaching certificate.
My lessons are designed to ensure student learning goals are accomplished. I use a holistic approach to ensure students are learning effectively. Students should expect quality teaching in a comfortable learning atmosphere. A good education is the top priority
