David Makate

Greetings to you all. My name is David and I am a native English speaker and tutor. I'm originally from great Zimbabwe but I currently reside in sunny South Africa. I'm a first year Computer Science student and I love all things Tech, I consider myself a language enthusiast, whether it be Python or Arabic you will find me knee deep in a language text book at any given moment :) I hold TEFL and IELTS certificates. I have a total of 14 months of English teaching experience. I've taught primarily on online platforms but I do have experience tutoring in person. I've taught a plethora of students with varying proficiencies and language goals. I'm a student orientated tutor, I find that adjusting my teaching style to the student results in the best outcome for me the educator and my student. I use the first session to determine which teaching style the student responds best to and I adjust accordingly in order to best achieve the students Language goals
