I am Tutor David from Nigeria, a native English speaker and an expert in English. I am 43. I have taught several students in and outside of the classroom. Theophiluswas a special experience I had. I taught him for a year. His rating initially was below A1. He could hardly get any sentence correctly but with time, patience and interest, he worked hard and improved. In recently times, I noticed that students often fail English in West African Senior School Examinations. While I investigated, I discovered that many schools lack dedicated English Tutors. I organized a weekend lesson online and reached out to many students. I helped them overcome their challenges and many of them improved My students can expect a learner-centred tutoring in which I take my time to understand their learning need and concentrate on fixing it. I will identify the gap in knowledge and seek means of bridging it as quickly as possible. My students can expect progressive learning in which they learn new concepts in every class. In personalized learning mode, I will guide my students properly, using the materials provided and other relevant ones. This way, I can help them move up the proficiency ladder. Expect to learn rules of grammar, reading, writing and pronunciation skills from my class. Expect to work hard. Moreso, we can chat about our hobbies and other interesting areas like science.
