My name is Chris, and I live in North Carolina. I love, spending time, with my girlfriend, exploring the outdoors, music, and carpentry! I have a 5, and 6 year old son, and they are my world! I love English, and meeting new people! My goal, is to help others advance, in their knowledge, and comprehension, of the English language. Speaking, reading, and writing, confidently, are the key foundations, for anyone, to have, a happy life. Everything depends, on our communication skills, and how we can follow instructions. The better, we can pay attention, to detail, the more valuable, our dependability, will be. Much of that, is learned, by our grammar, and English comprehension. I will, diligently, strive, to help all who tutor, with me, and better prepare them for the successful road ahead! English shouldn't be scary. Learning how, to read, and write, with understanding, is how we can make true progress! I hope you will learn with me, and I look forward to speaking with you! I do not have any certifications. I did not go to college. My knowledge, of the English language, has been learned over many years, of reading, writing, and from personal tutors. In my early teens, I hated English. I hated to read, and I did not fully understand the importance of why I should study it. Speaking, and understanding the intricacies of its format, helped me with my confidence, and relationship building. There is nothing too difficult, that you cannot learn. There is no mountain, too high for you to climb. If reading, writing, and speaking English, is something that you feel, is something you cannot attain, please take a breath, of fresh air, and know that there are people who want to help, and encourage you, to reach your dreams. Observe, and celebrate growth! 6. Assess Possibilities. Steps 1, and 6 are at the beginning, and the end, for a reason. In life, we should, constantly, be looking for, and assessing, our possibilities. Everyone learns differently, so possibilities, will be unique. We are all capable, to climb, as high, and vast, as we desire...but it all depends, on our outlook. I start, by assessing the possibilities, with the student, at the very beginning, so there is no room, for misunderstanding. When the student is involved, in the success planning, they are more, in tune, with the process. These are my development stepping stones, as it were, and they have made major, beneficial, changes, in my life! I may not have a degree, in English studies, but I can validate, from personal experience, the benefits of English comprehension!
