Chioma Ama

I am an ESL teacher with a TESOL certification from Arizona State University and almost a decade of experience teaching, researching and studying. My classes are tailored to keep learners motivated and goal-oriented. In my classes, imperfections are not hidden but perfection is strived for. In my free time, I surf the internet or make braid wigs. I spend my life doing the things I love: teaching, braiding hair and spending time with my family. In almost a decade, I have taught learners of all ages and levels of English proficiency. Some of my classes are held on online platforms such as Google Classroom and Google Meet. Currently, I teach teenagers and adults. One of the teaching methods I implement in my lessons is differentiation. I believe that learners have different abilities and require different needs. Therefore, I augment my classes to suit the needs of every learner. My class activities are technology-enriched and learner-centred.
