As a medical graduate and a native English speaker with a strong passion for languages, I have embraced the opportunity to learn multiple languages, including Russian and Portuguese. This journey has equipped me with insights into the challenges faced by my students, allowing me to connect with them in a relatable yet professional manner. Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of teaching both in-person and online classes. I have successfully assisted students from Russia, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, and Poland in improving their grammar skills and conversational proficiency. Many students seek a teacher who can effectively meet their individual needs and customize lessons accordingly. While this is certainly important, I believe that a key aspect of supporting students is enhancing their boosting their vocabulary, their grasp of phrasal verbs, and their knowledge of idiomatic expressions. This approach not only aids in comprehending native speakers but also enables students to communicate with a level of fluency similar to that of a native speaker. Additionally, I make sure to include chances for focused practice of new vocabulary in my lessons. I aim to foster a comfortable atmosphere for students who might feel anxious or shy, ensuring that my classroom is a welcoming space for learning where questions are always encouraged.
