I am a native English speaker from Houston Texas. I have been teaching guitar since 1990, martial arts since 2005 and English as a second language since 2023. I have taught thousands of students over the years, all different ages, backgrounds and skill levels. I have dedicated my life to teaching. I absolutely love teaching, it is my passion, and I would love an opportunity to teach you. I come from a musical family and learned guitar from my older brothers then taught guitar to other family and friends. I played music professionally from 1993-2005 and during that time I continued teaching guitar to my family and friends but I also taught many other musicians and fans. I started teaching martial arts in 2005 opening my own business teaching martial arts at local schools after school. I also taught guitar to many of my martial arts students. In 2009 I opened a martial arts school and taught 6-9 hours a day 6 days a week for the next 11 years. I also continued teaching guitar. In 2020 I was forced to close my school due to Covd-19, but I continue to teach private guitar lessons and private martial arts lessons. In 2023 I started teaching English as a second language and really enjoyed it, so in 2024 I completed a 120 hour TEFL course and and started teaching English as a second language professionally. I have already taught hundreds of students for hundreds of hours. I teach Conversational English and Business English. I teach all ages and skill levels from beginner to advanced. Primary specialization is correcting accent and pronunciation issues. Secondary specialization is grammar and fluency. I can, and will, happily help you successfully achieve you goal, whatever it may be.
