A graduate from the University of Leeds, I am from southern England I grew up in France near Geneva in a multicultural setting. I enjoy Travelling and studying various languages. I have been travelling extensively and teaching English for more than 15 years to sponsor my travels. I am slowly but surely resettling in France and teaching online. I have taught english to people of varying cultural backgrounds and levels. I alter and tailor my lessons according to the needs of the student. I will usually propose to beginners and pre-intermediate students lessons that strengthen grammar, vocabulary and day to day discussion. Using workbooks and the like, but also interactive material including simple word games etc... For intermediate to advanced according to the student's level, I will: 1. Use texts in general for accent reduction 2. Videos for speaking, discussion and strengthening listening skills. 3. I might also use articles to strengthen vocabulary and see if my student can paraphrase analyse and summarise, all of which will be used for discussion. 4. Targeting certain aspects of grammar, phonetics and vocabulary, according to the student's needs.
