I am from Costa Rica, I work in an American school and I love doing yoga and meditation. I am passionate about languages, I speak English and have an intermediate level of French. In my free time I read historical fiction books, and I am always trying to learn something new. I have studies in Ayurveda and herbal medicine that I apply to myself as well as to my family and friends.
I have a master's degree in teaching Spanish as a second language. I have taught in-person classes to primary and secondary school students for several years, although I am currently more involved in the administrative area. I have been teaching virtual classes for 6 months.
In my classes I try to be a language facilitator rather than a teacher. I try to get my students to speak and practice the language in everyday situations, adjusting to the needs of each one.
