I am passionate about arts, crafts, being creative and DIY. I also enjoy cooking and shopping.
I love teaching English because it is very rewarding to see students thriving and being able to do certain things because they now understanding another language.
I have also learnt a lot of languages in my life and knowing that I can converse with others who speak only that language is incredible.
I currently teach on Preply and I have a TEFL 120 Hour Certificate. My experience has been good so far although teaching English Online is now a very saturated space. I have really been enjoying meeting people from different countries with different learning requirements and getting to know a few things about them on a cultural level and their lifestyles.
My teaching style is centered around the students and their respective requirements. I keep a file on all my students so that I can track their progress and ensure that we are making steps in the correct direction. I listen more than I talk, and I do not jump in to correct the student every single time. Instead, I make notes and give some of those corrections as homework and I have noticed that my students seldom repeat the same mistakes.
