I am from Cape Town. The experiences in my life have given me the ability to conversate around many topics. My hobbies include reading, writing, singing and gifting. I am passionate about cooking and experiencing new memories with my family. The root of my passion for the English language... I absolutely love teaching English as a second or foreign language, because I know the frustration behind not being able to express yourself enough in a language you yourself do not understand. Guiding students through this process is so fulfilling... Book a trial lesson and allow me to get you to a level of English understanding. Note: I also teach Afrikaans, a language native to South Africa :-) I have taught and tutored students from the age of 2 up to 29 years old. Each within a different learning environment. I've been employed at call centers, Early Childhood Development centers, private and public sector environments. My passion is teachi My style of teaching is interpersonal, because it is always better to have a firm idea of who my students are and why they want to learn the English language. Allowing me to create lesson content appropriate to the needs of my students. I also enjoy interactive and comprehensive activities, allowing me more insight to what my students want to know and where they are headed. Gives us the opportunity to improve skills and abilities. I utilize both presentation format as well as visual and comprehensive activities. For example: Watching a video clip and answering questions based on the content. I also enjoy the process of reading a story and getting to the point where it becomes fun to return to the next chapter. Sometimes, learning can even be done outside. It all depends on the student's needs and requests.
