Article is ''The'' and ''a/an''. We use articles before nouns, we use also to indicate the number of a noun,who we are talking about,its size and its amount. Let's begin with ''The'' article. ''The'' article is used in many places, for example. If you want to talk about what is known,then you should use '' the'' article. E.G, The sun rises from the east . Also ''the'' article is used if used again in a situation mentioned earlier. E.G, I saw a man,who is quite old. The man was walking in the park. In this sentence first we used ''a'' article to indicate that there is only one. and after first sentence,there is no need to use ''a'' article. ''a'' and ''an'' article is used usually,when we are talking about a single noun. if you ask what's the difference,I can say that if a noun begins with consonant word(like s,d,b,c) we use usually ''a'' article before noun. if a noun begins with vokal word(like a,e,ı,i) then we use ''an'' article.
