Hi, my name is Maureen. I am from South Africa. I am a Native South African teacher, I hold a 120 hour Tefl teaching certificate. I have 3 years teaching experience and I consider myself passionate in helping my students reach their goals in becoming proficient in the English-language. I am patient and understanding. I consider it an honor and a great privilege to teach you. I am always ready to listen and modify my teaching according to my students needs and suggestions. You will feel at home and always be greeted with a warm and friendly smile, I have an easy going personality so you will feel comfortable really quickly. Feel free to give ideas of what you would like to learn more about. I am open to suggestions and ideas. My friendly personality will instantly relax you and English will be a fun learning experience for you. Because I am a parent and a mother I can understand and relate with many people. I am committed one hundred percent to you, and delivering a good lesson. I have been teaching for 3 years and I have successfully gained the confidence and the trust of my students, I have also had very positive feedbacks from most of my students. I am always willing to go the extra mile in helping a student reach whatever goals they have set for themselves. I have had the opportunity of meeting and speaking to amazing students from different cultures and backgrounds. I also teach beginner business English , where you get to learn office meeting vocabulary, Idioms used in business meetings and alternate words to use instead of simple words to impress at your next business meeting. Learning should be a fun and relaxed experience where you feel comfortable and not bored. Lessons are not monotonous so you don't get bored instead they vary from conversation that relaxes you then onto the Lesson of the day. In my experience I have learnt how important our universal language English is and that it is important to know English because it is a requirement in life. My lessons are 45 minutes long, but I am flexible and can always change the time according to your needs. My teaching style is very relaxed but effective enough to ensure success .
