Hello! 😀 I am Lydia, a TEFL/TESOL certified Teacher and I’m from Botswana in Southern Africa. I teach both adults and kids and enjoy teaching all age groups. Our classroom is a fun place to be because we find joy in learning the English language. I challenge myself to learn new things everyday, including a different language and I am very interested in your country and its culture. As a student-centered teacher, I allow students to speak so that I can identify areas that require improvement, in this way our learning becomes progressive and builds confidence in the student. It's not easy to understand a lot of English words, our classroom's mission is to make it simple for you to master online English lessons and activities. Once you master the English language, you will have confidence in yourself and speak it publicly without doubts. The experience I have in tutoring English online guides to understand your challenges which needs improvement and strengths to build on. I am a native english speaker and TEL Certified. I also have diploma in Management and Masters degree in Business Administration. I have more than three years teaching experience to both adults and children. As a teacher, I understand what it is like to be both a learner and a teacher. My lessons are tailored to individual needs. I taught in private and public schools via Misistry of Education in Botswana. I am a compassionate teacher and love sharing knowledge as well as helping others to learn. My teaching experience allows me to make a positive impact on my students' lives. I have experience in teaching and mentoring students for over three years. I have also worked as a tutor and life coach for adolescents in my neighborhood. I'm passionate about helping students realize and achieve their full potential. I also help students in my neibourhood to revise by taclking previous examination papers in preparation for their final examinations. As a TEFL-certified teacher, I teach conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, and punctuation. When appropriate, I also use Total Physical Response (TPR) to improve learning efficiency. Another method I employ is Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), which promotes authentic and meaningful communication. In my classroom, students are encouraged to actively participate. I specialize in various aspects of English, including Basic English for beginners, General Conversation, Business English, Grammar, and teaching English to children. I love working with both kids and adults. I always strive to create a friendly and enjoyable learning experience. In a situation my student has a challenge in learning a second language I tailor-rmaid the lesson to individual need. I appreciate nice things and aspire to be the best at all I do. In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, and meeting new people from different nations.
