My name is Jade from the beautiful twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago. I have been teaching English for the past four(4) years both online and in the classroom. I am a relaxed, friendly, approachable native English speaker with a passion for teaching and helping non-native English speakers achieve fluency in the language and gain confidence in their professional and personal lives. With my extensive teaching background, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to start their English language journey. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for 4 years. Throughout my career, I have worked with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I have taught in various settings, including language schools, online platforms, and corporate environments. This exposure has provided me with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by non-native English speakers and the effective teaching strategies necessary to overcome them. I have a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a Diploma in Child Care. This means I have been trained and am very qualified to teach English. My teaching style is student-oriented. I make learning English simple, easy, and fun while tailoring each lesson to your individual needs. I provide structured English lesson plans focusing on what my student needs and what their interests are. I focus on speech, understanding, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.
