Welcome to my page! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. I'm Glyzel, 26 years old, and I grew up in Michigan, US from the age of 4 but currently living in the Philippines. I speak English as my primary language and I understand Filipino. I'm a graduate of BS psychology with units in education and child development. I also enjoy art, animals, traveling, working with kids, and sharing ideas and perspectives on life. EXPERIENCE •Worked in a physical/online educational setting for 5 years •Experience in Special Education •Taught different age groups from toddlers to adults, varying from beginner to advanced levels from -China, -Japan, and -Korea •Cond MY LESSONS •Student-centered-learning approach (This includes teaching based on the student's pace and needs to achieve learning) •I value encouragement. •I make sure they enjoy the class and is worth the time! •I adjust for the students so that they may grow and get to where they want to be in their time. •WE BOTH LEARN! Give me time to prepare and I'll take time to learn the basics in your language so English is easier to learn. •I apply visual aids like photos and gestures in my lessons. •Constructive feedback is very much valued in my lessons too.
