Dear ladies and gentlemen! My congratulations! This is the right profile of the teacher of English you have been seeking for a long time! And I am actually happy to meet you! I have lived in Ukraine for 56 years since the birth and have been teaching English during a half of this period. Apart from these magnificent activities at institutions and language centres I sometimes work for the radio, television and web-media making some educational stuff (programs and films) for kids and adults. Before getting the degree in Linguistics at the University I graduated from the Drama College. So, it’s not difficult to guess that teaching remains a sort of creative activity for me. Maybe a sort of magic as well? Isn’t that a miracle at all when a person starts speaking a different language? My students are mainly adult people performing some serious jobs. By the way, housekeeping is as serious and important business as banking and entrepreneurship. That is why the range of my students is rather wide. As for the corporate learning, they ar Concerning my teaching style. Well, the students’ task is to learn as much as possible, mine is to teach them even the use of Present Perfect Continuous in the lightest way I can. That is why I prefer focusing on listening and speaking and the advanced methods worked out and edited by Pearson, Longman, Oxford University Press, etc. Watching some rare or curious videos and discussing on them are also commonly used on my lessons. One of the good traditions which I usually follow is to start a lesson with an anecdote in English. That motivates and creates the nice atmosphere of the lesson.
