Sithembinkosi Moyo

Hello, my name is Sithembinkosi and I am 39 years old. I currently reside in Namibia and have a great passion for teaching individuals from different walks of life especially in English and the public health field. My hobbies include reading, camping and baking. I have over the years been responsible for training prospective health inspectors in public health and research with my latest role being a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences. This role has helped enhance my language, communication and research skills as I have supervised about 10 research students in the past 2 years. I also spend much time assisting different individuals who are studying at various institutions of higher learning with understanding different subjects. My teaching methodology includes student-centered learning which is focused on creating a classroom environment that promotes student engagement and ownership of their learning. The techniques I normally use include cooperative learning and project-based assignments. I also utilise differentiated instruction with tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, employing varied instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles. My third teaching method is technology Integration that is the utilization of digital tools and resources to enhance learning, including online discussions and multimedia presentations.
