HI my name is Mandisa, a 27 year old capable, experienced, ambitious, goal-driven and very bubbly African pearl. I’m a Dramatic Arts Specialist so I always strive to use creative ways to get my students to maximise their potential!! If I’m not teaching I’m probably on stage reciting poetry and performing art. I also hold a BA degree in psychology which helps me understand people who come from different walks of life. Im just a ball of energy with passion burning inside of me. I earned my Post-Graduate Cerificate in Education majoring in Dramatic Arts, Life Orientation and History from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2019. I attended undergrad at the University of Zululand where I earned a Bachelor Degree majoring in Psycho The backbone of my teaching style is inclusivity in the classroom which entails embracing diversity. It’s all about creating an effective and conducive learning environment for all students regardless of their culture, age group, gender or race. I will be the teacher that attends to each and every single unique educational need. I will also use the Communicative Approach where I create an atmosphere where students are able to be comfortable to engage. My understanding of the communicative approach theory involves creating situations where students have a genuine need to say something and engage in the classroom. will also blend a few Dramatic Art techniques such as demonstration, voice Articulation , pronunciation , projection with my bubbly personality to bring life and entertainment to my lessons. I will also include fun Dramatic Arts techniques such as playing around with several ideas and just generally thinking what it would be like to be in a specific situation
