Hello everyone! My name is Gyeong-eun, and I'm a native Korean who was born and raised in Korea. I hold a Level 1 Korean Language Instructor certificate and have over a year of teaching experience. It's truly amazing how learning a new language can expand our thinking by introducing perspectives we've never considered before. Sharing this experience with others is also exciting and fun. That's why I fell in love with learning foreign languages and started tutoring. I'm here to help you have this wonderful experience too! I enjoy a variety of activities, from active sports like swimming and cycling to calm pursuits like playing the ukulele and practicing calligraphy. Recently, I've been really into finding and cooking new vegan recipes. Language isn't something you study, it's something you naturally pick up. Let's practice Korean by talking about various topics! How about you? What are you into? I've taught people of different ages, backgrounds, levels, and goals. Because of this, I know the parts that students often find difficult and make mistakes with. I've collected these points and created materials to explain them easily to my students. Through conversation-focused lessons, I help you gain confidence in speaking Korean and use natural sentences that native speakers use in real life. I also explain new expressions in detail in English, describing the situations where they're used and how they feel, so you can understand them correctly and remember them easily. If there are similar Korean expressions, I explain the subtle differences in nuance as well. In our first lesson, I'll assess your current level and goals, and create a personalized learning plan for you.
