My name is Andile Angel Mabuza. I am from South Africa, from a small town called Bronkhorstspruit. I am 21 years of age, currently studying a bachelor's degree in education ( majoring in English). I have a strong passion for education, in my spare time I enjoy reading novels, training upcoming athletes ( fun fact I was a professional athlete myself). I enjoy cooking and baking. I have 8 weeks of teaching experience, I have taught at two High schools as part of my teaching practicals in the last two years. As well as I have tutored 5 kids ranging from the ages 6-14. In my lessons, students can expect a mix of engaging activities, clear explanations, and plenty of opportunities to practice what they’ve learned. I plan on making lessons relevant and accessible. I have a few different teaching styles to suit various learning needs: 1. Interactive Learning: Students can expect hands-on activities, and discussions. 2. Student-Centered Approach: I will guide students toward developing critical thinking skills. Students might engage in inquiry-based learning, where they ask questions and solve problems, taking an active role in their education. Lessons will likely be tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. 3.Feedback and Growth: Students can expect regular feedback, with an emphasis on growth and improvement, through formative assessments, self - reflection. In summary, my students will experience dynamic, supportive, and lessons that promote active engagement, critical thinking and academic growth.
