I teach to share my passion about languages that give access to cultures and people they represent. My short term goal is to lift the language barrier and equip students with tools necessary for effective understanding and communication in situations where use of a foreign tongue is required. My long term goal is to make students independent language speakers capable of using it to the full extent whenever they need. I believe that speaking is key to language learning. Even if you’re a beginner, I’ll try to engage you in a conversation. Most of the time, students know much more than they think they do, so activating passive knowledge is a top priority. You also learn much more if you actively participate in something. Therefore, my lessons are more like workshops than lectures.
