Tamara Bailey

Hello! My name is Tamara Bailey and I am an English teacher and Communication Specialist with over ten (10) years of experience. I am a lover of life and new experiences. When I am not helping students reach their goals I am binge watching a good show, singing my heart out at a concert, voice acting for my clients, enjoying a road trip or some mild wild adventure. I believe these beautiful moments are the greatest teachers. I have taught hundreds of students, from across the world, at the high school, pre-college and university level here in Jamaica, The courses I have taught include some of the following modules: Basic English, Business English, English for final year high school and pre- college students, English Language and Communication 101, Oral Communication (Advanced) and Creative Writing. My students have an average 90% pass and proficiency rate and a 95 % competency rate. I am fun, engaging, patient and supportive and for the almost ten years of my teaching career, these traits have allowed me help hundreds of students, at various levels, reach their learning goals. No matter what level you are at, I am here to help you get desired results by using material tailored to your needs. My classes are highly engaging , very interactive and very conversational; an approach which is ideal for students at the beginner and intermediate levels get the desired results.
