I am a South African native English speaker with one year of informal teaching experience. I am enthusiastic about teaching and enjoy challenging students to reach their full potential. I am patient and motivating, which are qualities that all good teachers should possess. I've worked in places that helped me improve my English skills and broaden my skill set, making me a better English speaker. I am fascinated by many things, some of which have to do with cosmetology which is skincare and makeup. Baking is another activity that I enjoy because it is therapeutic and allows me to clear my mind. I enjoy traveling and sightseeing. I also enjoy reading because I believe it not only improves your imagination but also increases your vocabulary, allowing you to speak more effectively. I follow a strict exercise regimen that helps me improve my self-discipline. I believe that self-discipline is one of the best, if not the best, qualities a person can possess.
My teaching experience began during my school years; I was always a step ahead of my classmates, so whenever they needed assistance with their homework, I was there to assist them. Since then, I've discovered a love for teaching. When I finished school, I
I use a variety of teaching styles with my students. A "show and tell" style, which uses props, examples, and actions to teach, is one example. I also like to keep my students engaged by incorporating some humor into my lessons, which I accomplish by including jokes and inviting them to participate in activities. At the end of my lesson, I like to have my students complete short quizzes to refresh their memories on what they learned. I believe that each student is unique and that they should be taught differently. Every student learns differently and in their preferred manner; some students pick up information more quicker than others, while others take more time to absorb it. In my opinion, rather than the student finding it difficult to adjust to the teacher's teaching style, it is the responsibility of the teacher to comprehend and adapt to the needs and preferences of the students, helping them to maximize their capacity for learning.
