Hello everyone! 😊 My name is Catherine, and I'm from South Africa. A beautiful country known for it's diverse culture and friendly people. I am a qualified EFL teacher who understands that language learning can be difficult. But I am here to help! I have a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals, all at their own pace. I strive to make students feel as comfortable as possible. I want my students to feel that my class is a safe space. Mistakes are totally normal and all part of the learning process! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking and most of all being out in nature. I love to travel and see new things, I feel that life is an adventure and you have to take advantage of it. I'm excited to meet you and start our learning journey together! I have been on this teaching adventure for quite some time now, and I've truly enjoyed every minute of it. In that time I discovered my love for teaching and meeting new people. I excel in the English language and am always aiming to better myself and my knowledge. My primary focus areas are vocabulary, reading, fluency and conversational skills. I believe that the key to gaining confidence is through a lot of practice.
