Savaanha Sequeira

I'm from the beautiful coastal city of Mangalore which is located in the South of India on the Western Coast. We always spoke in English at home, which is why I speak it with a native proficiency. I have two bachelors degrees, one of them is from Canada where I lived for three years. I am passionate about trying out new and interesting things to eat and cooking experiments. I have four dogs, three of whom are rescued strays (although I'm still not quite sure if I saved them or they saved me)... I have taught at PlanetSpark, where I worked as a Creative Writing and Public Speaking Coach. I would guide children through interactive lessons, games, and projects that help develop the skills needed to speak confidently in public and write with clarity and creativity. I was also a course instructor at Wizklub, with over two years of remote teaching experience helping students excel. I currently work at Native Camp as an ESL Instructor for students across Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam. I have won awards in debates and impromptu speaking. In a national-level poetry competition, I ranked 43rd and there were over 100,000 participants. Additionally, at Toastmasters, an international public speaking club, I had the honor of winning the Table Topics competition. I am always eager to continue growing and deepening my knowledge by sharing it, come let us embark on this beautiful journey together! I enjoy playing the role of facilitator, where I meet the students at their level and try to get as much as I can from them while providing hints to nudge them in the right direction and clear instructions on pronunciation, fluency, grammar whenever or wherever needed. I genuinely love what I do so you will be lavishly praised (positive reinforcement) as I make learning fun while the lesson itself will give you a glimpse of my wit and with time I will mould you into a worthy adversary (lol).
