My name is Caryne and I am a native speaker from South Africa. I currently live in Namibia. I have taught English online for about five years now and absolutely love it!! My passion is teaching children and helping them improve their speaking abilities in the English language. I have a 150-hour Masters TEFL/TESOL certificate from the Global Language Institute in the UK, and studying towards a degree. I am a teacher by heart and love helping people from all around the globe. I have taught both offline (in a classroom) and English online. I am an experienced English tutor specializing in teaching children. I have experience teaching both children and adults. I have five years of teaching English online experience. I have taught for companies like Native Camp, Acadsoc, Amazing Talker, Open English, and more recently Betakid. I have a background in Learn and Play Education and Early Child Development. My lessons are fun and engaging. I use a lot of TPR in my lessons to make sure the students and I can understand each other. My lessons allow the student to learn at their own pace and I try not to put too much pressure on them. I create a fun and energetic learning environment and always put the student's needs first in the classroom. I focus on elicitation a lot and maximizing the students' speaking output, using different and dynamic learning methods.
