Hello students! My name is Iza, and I am from Brunei, a tiny country in SEA. I am natively bilingual in English and Malay. I have lived in eight different towns and cities across five different countries, and currently, Cambodia is my home. My background is primarily in Marketing and Public Relations. After leaving the corporate world, I decided to travel, and since then, I have been an online English tutor for nearly five years. My passions are food, music, the outdoors, and most of all, travel! With nearly 5 years of experience as an online English tutor, my journey has been immensely fulfilling. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to teach individuals from a wide range of countries and age groups. Interacting with learners from diverse cultural backgrounds has enriched my teaching experience and broadened my perspective on language acquisition. It has been gratifying to witness the progress and growth of my students as they improve their English language skills. What truly excites me about teaching online is the chance to meet with students from diverse cultures and nationalities, engaging in discussions on a wide range of topics. Patience is one of my virtues, and I speak with a clear and neutral accent. My main objective is to help you gain the confidence to communicate effectively in English.
